Privacy Policy

Plain version: the only information we hold right now is the early-access waitlist. We use it to reach you about TurfDispatcher and nothing else. We do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
TurfDispatcher is pre-launch. The app is not open to operators yet, so this is an initial policy that covers this website and the waitlist. When the app ships, we will publish an updated policy that covers the information you enter while running your business, and we will tell waitlist members before it takes effect.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, you give us:
- Your email address, state, and business name. These are required. Your state tells us which record format to build for you first.
- Your crew size and what software you use today. These are optional, and only there to help us build the right thing.
That is the whole list. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers that follow you around the web, and we do not buy information about you from anyone else.
Why we use it
- To email you when early access opens.
- To decide which states we build record formats for first, in waitlist order.
- To understand how many operators want this, so we know it is worth building.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we never sell or rent it.
Who we share it with
We share it only with the vendors that run this site, and only so the site works:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, serves it over the world, and runs the spam check on the sign-up form.
- Neon is the US-based database where the waitlist is stored.
We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the site and its users from abuse.
Text messages (SMS)
When the app is live, it lets the lawn-care operator you are a customer of send you text messages about your service, such as appointment reminders and updates about a visit. You only receive these if you opt in.
- Consent. Your operator turns texts on only after showing you what you are agreeing to and recording your opt-in. You are never enrolled automatically.
- What we send. Service messages only, such as an evening-before reminder or a note that a visit could not be completed. We do not send marketing texts.
- Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts, or HELP for help. You can opt back in by replying START.
- We do not sell or share it. Your phone number and your text-message consent are never sold, and are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. Our text-messaging provider processes messages only to deliver them for us.
How it is protected
We built this to hold sensitive data safely from the start, rather than adding security later. Your app talks to a server we control, never straight to the database. The part of that server which takes your sign-up is allowed to do one thing, add you to the list, and it cannot read the list back or reach anything else. No one can promise perfect security, and anyone who does is selling something. We can promise to collect little, to give every part of our system only the access it truly needs, and to be honest about what we do with what you give us.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to remove it or until we decide we no longer need it. You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you or to delete it, and we will. To do that, email us at the address below.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare and its spam check may set strictly necessary items to keep the site secure and to tell real visitors from bots. That is all.
Children
TurfDispatcher is a tool for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
As we get closer to launch this policy will grow, especially the part about the information you enter inside the app. When we change it, we will update the date at the top of this page. For anything that materially affects waitlist members, we will email you first.
